7" Vinyl Bonanza! No Use for a Name! Hi-Standard! face to face! Pre-order now!
Well, 2015 has come and gone, and we still need…roads. Also, time machines still aren’t a thing! However, our ongoing Original Demos Series allows you to travel back in time …back to when some of your favorite bands recorded demos of some of their best songs.
We are thrilled to reveal that No Use for a Name will be our fourth installment in this 7” vinyl series, coming at you on May 5th! The two song 7" features a never-before-heard demo of “Justified Black Eye” from Leche Con Carne, coupled with an extremely rare demo of “Sidewalk” from the Making Friends album. We found these songs on 20-year-old reels in our tape archive and knew we couldn’t keep them to ourselves. This release will be vinyl only, no digital, so pre-order your copy today!
Next up, another blast from the past, Hi-Standard! Last year, Pizza of Death released Another Starting Line, their first release of new material in 16 years. We’re always looking to expand our vinyl catalog, so when the band asked if we would press up their new EP, complete with a brand new throwback record cover, we jumped at the chance! This vinyl-only 7" release is also out on May 5th and you can pre-order it here.
Lastly, you can pre-order the brand new face to face 7”, Say What You Want, a double A-side single containing a previously unreleased song from the Protection sessions called “I, Me, Mine.” This song is a classic single track—an absolute barnburner—that didn’t quite fit on the Protection album. Don’t miss them on their Econolive tour —a throwback to the band’s epic 1996 tour—which commences this May.
