Escape From The Zoo team up with acclaimed filmmakers in new video!

Escape From The Zoo has teamed up with acclaimed filmmakers Walker Babington and Shana Betz for “Sentient Beer.” The track is lifted from their debut album, Countin’ Cards, and considers the role of substance abuse in art. Babington and Betz share, “It’s a song about a guy who’s had to battle his vices. We took a very literal (and comical) approach to that concept.”

The couple’s fiercely independent, punk rock approach to art aligned perfectly with EFTZ’s sensibilities. Vocalist Jesse Sendejes adds, “They seem to have an energy very similar to ours, and that made it really easy to let loose, and get a little goofy with it which I think comes through in the video.” Watch the video below and catch their raucous live performance next month!
