“During the COVID quarantine, we binged Freaks and Geeks over and over again. Its opening song, Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation," had us so obsessed that we'd never skip the intro. Around this time, our band started writing music, drawing inspiration from musicians like Joan Jett and the Ramones to dive into punk. Teenage Runaway is the perfect tribute to the woman who inspired us and started it all: Joan Jett.”
