March’s Podcast is finito. And this time Fat Mike and Floyd suit up and investigate a crashed vessel which turns out to be (gulp!) the Botany Bay! Okay, so that was a metaphor. But this new Podcast is full of high-flying thrills, galactic action, and a bunch of shit-talking, of course. Pssst, the band is playing a “secret” show at Stinky’s tonight. Seeya there. The real news is that we have a new mp3 available from NOFX’s upcoming CDEP, Never Trust A Hippy. That thing comes out March 14th, to be followed by the release of their length, Wolves In Wolves’ Clothing, out April 18th. What else is there…oh yeah, the new mp3 is for the song “Seeing Double At The Triple Rock”, which is an ode to D4’s bar and their kick ass bowling team. Carry on!
The pride of Wrigleyville, The Lawrence Arms will be offering a new song every day on their MySpace page starting now. Today’s tune is “Cut It Up”, which is believed to be a tribute to the venerable trade of barbering. Totally awesome. But you won’t need to leave the meaning of these songs up to our intepretation because you can win the band’s original lyric sheets and a copy of Oh! Calcutta! on colored vinyl over at Punknews.org. Party people! We just posted the art and tracklisting for our new stuff. To be more specific, there’s The Sainte Catherines Dancing For Decadence, and Love Equals Death Nightmerica.
